Southern’s back-in-the-days ‘Brut-force’ General Electric GE U30C in O Scale is one of Overland Model’s earlier pieces. Crafted in the year 1983, OMI #241.1 is Custom Painted for Overland road #3100 is one of only six. This early piece featured four working hatch doors which open and close to give you views of the locomotive’s engine, and is tank driven. Original box in good condition shows wear. Test ran excellent in forward and reverse with no lights, custom painted and decal for Southern railroad by Overland painters. Please note some glue residue is shown on the grill at rear of the long hood. Rare and very hard to find in such excellent condition. A great fit for any collection.
